This is the first painting from our Viking River cruise on the Rhone River from Avignon to Leon. We did a wine tour of the  vineyards of Chateau Neuf Du Pape in the French country side.  I caught this group of trees in at the edge of one of the vineyards and the resulting composition moved me to paint it in the impressionist style. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did painting it.
