City park, New Orleans; one of my favorite places, a place of peace and calm, especially around the ponds.  These lilies really intrigued me with their uplifted and translucent edges.  The light plays wonderful games with the lily's " fleshy" edges.  The low angle gives the picture a great sense of perspective, drawing you up and back into the painting.
